List of Agencies in the Military Construction and VA Appropriations Bill

The information on this page will be updated as bills move through the legislative process after: 1) House and Senate Committee action, 2) House and Senate floor action, and 3) Conference Committee action.

The "status" row for each bill indicates where the bill is in the legislative process. The "count" is the number of earmarks identified by the agency in the bill and report, or through other communication. The "amount" is the total value of the earmarks in the bill, in thousands of dollars.

Note: these estimates were developed with limited access to information, often under a tight timeline dictated by the legislative process. For each account, the agency has provided a PDF file that explains the basis for the estimates. In addition, these estimates may differ from those of other entities due to differences in the definition of an earmark used by that entity.

*The Department of Veterans Affairs amount does not include a provision that prohibits the disposal or transfer of property at the West Los Angeles Medical Center by the Department of Veterans Affairs, resulting in an estimated $4 billion loss of receipts, because conventional budget scoring would not include the amount in the discretionary appropriations total.
